Servants of the Pierced Hearts of Jesus and Mary
In 2020, Bishop Olmsted invited the Servants of the Pierced Hearts of Jesus and Mary founded by Mother Adela Galindo, SCTJM to serve in the Diocese of Phoenix, one of their missions being the Holy Spirit Newman Center. Their charism is to be the living image and presence of the heart, person and mission of Our Lady. The fundamental dimensions of their spirituality are Eucharistic, Marian, Living in the Power of the Holy Spirit, and In the Heart of the Church. These elements are ever-present in their ministry at the Newman Center.
“May this Newman Center be a Home, a School and a Path
for many hearts to come to know
the depth of God’s love
and the Splendor of His truth,
as to form authentic and joyful witnesses and apostles,
filled with the power of the Holy Spirit,
at the service of the New Evangelization,
to build a new civilization of love, truth and life and solidarity. ”
