Fr. David Loeffler
Hello! My name is Fr. David. I grew up in Yuma, AZ but lived in Ohio for eight years before serving as a priest in the Diocese of Phoenix. I have always been the sort of person who is curious and fascinated by the people and things that I encounter. I like to play chess, make music, write computer programs, fix broken electronics, build woodworking projects, and go backpacking. All of that being said, my favorite thing to do is spending time at the Newman Center with our students and staff. I love getting to know each student, diving into the messiness of life, praying together, laughing and having fun together. In his great goodness, God has called me to be a spiritual father, and I love “doing life” with the Newman Center family that he has entrusted to my care.
Favorite Saints: St. Thomas Aquinas for forming my mind. St. John of the Cross for training my heart. St. Paul for stirring my soul to mission.
